2015 was a spectacular year for me! Â I went to New York City, Orlando, Montreal and Detroit. Â I performed in the Girlesque Expo, the Toronto Burlesque Festival and Pride Toronto. Â I got three new tattoos including a BFF tattoo with Betty Quirk. Â I watched one of my best friends get married. Â I launched Dolly Shots Photography. Â But most importantly I had a blast doing all these things with my fabulous friends.
The theme of this year for me was Girl Power! Â I continue to surround myself with the smartest, funniest and coolest group of gals who are constantly inspiring me. Â They are loving and supportive and always there to give advice, encouragement or share a cute cat photo! Â I feel so lucky and blessed to have these women in my life.
I have big plans ahead for next year! Â Stay tuned for more fabulousness in 2016!
2015 has been a year of new ventures and creative exploration for me.  Launching Dolly Shots has been such a wonderful way for me to explore portrait photography and share my passion with the help of my beautiful friends who have modeled for me.  While I know that I still have so much to learn I am happy with the images I have been able to put out so far.  Happier still to see how much joy it brings my models when they receive their finished photos!
Recently I decided to take my creative vision to the next level and organize a photoshoot with a specific theme that has always captivated me. Â I gathered some gorgeous gals who also wanted to explore this theme and over the next few months you will see the fruits of this labour.
Bringing together a 1960s aesthetic, Russ Meyer influence and playful whimsy with a splash of vodka, I would like to present my Valley of the Dolly Shots Gals.  Stay tuned in 2016 for more photos of these buxom bombshells…

On September 25th at the Great Hall in Toronto myself and my lovely burlesque buddies debuted a new act for the Super Smash Bra Nerdlesque show! Â Peepshow TO put on this fun Nintendo themed show with acts featuring your favourite Nintendo characters. Â Our group chose to represent Pokemon with an act inspired by Eevee and her evolutions Flareon and Vaporeon. Â In this act Flareon (Delicia Pastiche) and Vaporeon (Henrietta VIII) are fighting over what type of Pokemon Eevee (myself) should evolve into. Â After showing me the basics of pokemon stripping I decide not to choose either and instead become a Jolteon!
Please enjoy some fun photos from this act by Ruth Gillson, Chris Hutcheson and Lick My Lens Cap Photography!

This past weekend my friends from Peepshow TO and I put on our best cosplays and strutted our stuff at one of the biggest Nerd Conventions in North America: FAN EXPO!  Fan Expo brings together fans of Comics, Sci-Fi, Anime, Horror and Gaming for a weekend of geeky fun.  The Peepshowers had a booth in the Horror section of the con and spent most of our time advertising our next show Garters of the Galaxy: A Marvel Inspired Burlesque.  We had a blast chatting up con goers and posing for photos in cosplay.
This year I really over extended myself by attempting to do 2 brand new cosplays for the con. Â On Friday the Peepshow crew did a Sparkly X-Men Group cosplay in which I portrayed the White Queen Emma Frost. Â For the big day, Saturday, we did another group cosplay. Â This time it was the DC Bombshells, which is a set of female DC characters as 1940s pinup girls. Â For this group I did Supergirl, which was such fun to make and to wear. Â On the final day I decided to wear an old favourite, my Batwoman burlesque cosplay. Â Overall the highlight of the weekend was definitely getting to meet the Queen of Cosplay herself; Yaya Han! Â Yaya is such an inspiration for me as a cosplayer. Â Her costumes are flawless and she really embodies each character she portrays.
Please enjoy a few of my photos from this year’s Fan Expo…
