I’m back from holiday but I’m not ready to leave the beautiful weather yet! This week’s photoset is from my Pool Photoshoot with Rebecca Northcott Photography last summer. This was such a fun shoot and Rebecca was a real pleasure to work with. I hope you enjoy these fun, summer shots!
My partner in crime, Betty Quirk, and I just got back from a week long holiday in Freeport, Bahamas, where she celebrated her Birthday! While in this lovely, tropical island we did a little photoshoot to celebrate.
Happy Birthday to one of the most wonderful women I know!
It has been such a pleasure to share my Beyond the Valley of the Dolls photos with you over the past few months. My beautiful Dolls were a vision in their vintage attire and I’m so thankful for having the chance to work with Dottie, Bianca, Ivory, Betty and Sevvy.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some photos I took of the lovely ladies of Nerd Girl Burlesque, so stay tuned!
For now, I leave you with the divine Dottie Champagne featuring Bianca Boom Boom! Both these babes will be back again in the fall with my next photoshoot theme Bondage Bombshells! Keep coming back because you won’t want to miss a thing!
Saffron St. James is an Hourglass and a Half and can be seen performing with Ottawa’s premiere Nerdlesque troupe; Browncoats Burlesque. She was the winner of the Ottawa Burlesque Festival’s 2014 Burlesque Idol competition in her first year of performing. Her lively and vibrant personality comes through so much in her expressions and she was an absolute pleasure to work with on this shoot.
This Burlesque Babe has a real Tura Satana vibe with her raven hair, winged eyeliner and the way she combines strength and seductiveness. You can see Lorelei embracing her inner Russ Meyer girl on July 28th at The Royal Cinema for the Ladies of Burlesque’s screening of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill featuring Lorelei as the burlesque entertainment for the evening.
2015 has been a year of new ventures and creative exploration for me. Launching Dolly Shots has been such a wonderful way for me to explore portrait photography and share my passion with the help of my beautiful friends who have modeled for me. While I know that I still have so much to learn I am happy with the images I have been able to put out so far. Happier still to see how much joy it brings my models when they receive their finished photos!
Recently I decided to take my creative vision to the next level and organize a photoshoot with a specific theme that has always captivated me. I gathered some gorgeous gals who also wanted to explore this theme and over the next few months you will see the fruits of this labour.
Bringing together a 1960s aesthetic, Russ Meyer influence and playful whimsy with a splash of vodka, I would like to present my Valley of the Dolly Shots Gals. Stay tuned in 2016 for more photos of these buxom bombshells…
