Bianca Boom Boom and Ivory in Furs

Bianca Boom Boom and Ivory are a couple of knockouts in this week’s sultry photoset.  Draped only in luxurious faux-fur these babes aren’t afraid to show a little flesh. You can see both these burlesque beauties on May 7th at Revival for Fantastic Breasts and Where to Find Them: Wizarding Burlesque.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls with Dottie Champagne

My doll of the week is none other than the delightful Dottie Champagne!  This little darling is a newbie Burlesquer with a seriously glamourous vintage appeal.  Decked out in a family heirloom and a little bit of faux-fur, Dottie is ready for glass of champagne!

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls

I’m back from a refreshing break with a new energy and some tricks up my sleeve!

I am so excited to share the photos from my latest photoshoot with you!  As always, I drew a lot of my inspiration from Russ Meyer and so, since I’ve already done The Valley of the Dolls, this new set is called Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

These gorgeous burlesque beauties were the perfect models for this 60s nostalgic theme and it was an absolutely pleasure capturing Bianca Boom Boom, Sevvy Skellington, Betty Quirk, Dottie Champagne and Ivory in this pink dream set.

Please enjoy the first instalment of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls…

Valley of the Dolls: Sam and Reddy

Sam and Reddy are two fun-loving, fabulous ladies with fierce minds to match!

On top of being a superbly stylish woman, Sam is also a PHD student, social worker and artist.  Her series of illustrations called Saucy Nüdles celebrates diverse body types and challenges heteronormative standards of beauty and her blog Braced explores her personal journey through life with a physical disability.  In her spare time Sam is also co-editing a book on fatness and motherhood.

Reddy is hilarious lady with an unending supply of silliness and light-hearted energy.  She is a comedian and the MC for Nerd Girl Burlesque and can be seen once a month on stage hosting Tassels and Tabletops.  Reddy is truly the life of the party and always puts a smile on my face.

Valley of the Dolls

2015 has been a year of new ventures and creative exploration for me.  Launching Dolly Shots has been such a wonderful way for me to explore portrait photography and share my passion with the help of my beautiful friends who have modeled for me.  While I know that I still have so much to learn I am happy with the images I have been able to put out so far.  Happier still to see how much joy it brings my models when they receive their finished photos!

Recently I decided to take my creative vision to the next level and organize a photoshoot with a specific theme that has always captivated me.  I gathered some gorgeous gals who also wanted to explore this theme and over the next few months you will see the fruits of this labour.

Bringing together a 1960s aesthetic, Russ Meyer influence and playful whimsy with a splash of vodka, I would like to present my Valley of the Dolly Shots Gals.  Stay tuned in 2016 for more photos of these buxom bombshells…
