Myself and my partner in crime, Betty Quirk, will be performing our Two Little Gold Diggers routine this Saturday evening at the Toronto Burlesque Festival! We are part of the Glam-A-Ganza show and will definitely bring the Glam in our Gentlemen Prefer Blondes tribute act. This year’s Girlesque Expo in Toronto was an especially monumental one for me as it was the debut of a brand new act from myself and Betty Quirk. It is hard for me to even put into words that joy that I felt finally bringing this act to life. It has been a dream of ours for sometime to take the Little Rock number from the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and put our own burlesque twist on it. The scene, which has a very silly theme about finding a man with money, also showcases a genuine bond between two girlfriends who are navigating the world of men and relationships. Betty and I enjoyed playing up both this friendship aspect as well as the silliness of the number and concluded with a whole lot of booty shaking. We also took on the task of recreating the costumes from the film and creating our own fun undergarments. It was a very successful show for us and we are very thankful to have such awesome photos from Photolena of our performance as well as a video from Candid Dragon Fire Productions which is at the bottom of this post.
Love is in the air today and one lady I love dearly is Zilly Lilly! This gorgeous red head is not only a phenomenal dancer and burlesque babe, she is also a wonderful, smart and funny lady and friend. I was very lucky to have Zilly join me in a saucy photoshoot earlier this year and Valentines day seemed the perfect day to post a little teaser from our shoot. I am so excited that next weekend is the 10th Annual Great Canadian Girlesque Expo! Girlesque is arguably the biggest and most exciting burlesque event in Toronto and is often a chance for performers to debut there newest creations. Myself and my design partner Betty Quirk have been preparing for months for the Girlesque expo as both performers and costumers to many other performers involved. We are very lucky to be outfitting Laura Desiree, Gigi Vanilla, Delicia Pastiche, Dottie Dangerfield and Dolly Berlin for this year’s expo!
We are even more excited to be debuting a dream act of ours at the closing Sunday night show! With inspiration from Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell, our act will be a fun mix of genres and styles. We can’t wait to share it with you!

On Friday December 19th you can catch me and my partner in crime Betty Quirk in an amazing cabaret show by Meryle Trouble. Just as the poster promises there will be musical ditties and a lil bit of titties! Betty and I will be doing lots of backup dancing as well as our famous Go-Go Cat Fight burlesque routine.

Last night was Pussy Whipped Wednesday at the Boxine Sex Club in Toronto. The lovely Laura Desiree produced the second monthly Dances the Cramps Taught Us event with burlesque performers and go-go dancers shaking it to songs by the Cramps. My design partner/bff, Betty Quirk and I did our go-go/cat fight routine. We were surrounded by lots of talented dancers including Tanya Cheex, Fionna Flauntit, Esther DeVille, Lorretta Jean and Aviva Mirage!

My amazing Boylesque friend Ab Horrence was thrown a surprise birthday party/burlesque show this past weekend by his amazing girlfriend. There were so many fun acts and myself and my design partner Betty Quirk debuted a new act we’ve been working on. Decked out in fringe covered outfits we shimmied and shook to the theme song to the film Faster Pussycat Kill Kill followed by the Cramps song “All Women are Bad”. The party was a huge success and I think Ab Horrence had an unforgettable birthday!
Yesterday my lovely friend Brittany and I went to the Windsor Arms for their high tea. It was a beautiful venue filled with sparkling chandeliers, tufted couches and delicate tea settings at each table. We had such a lovely time sampling scones and treats and we got to pick a tea from their extensive selection. Of course, being ladies of style, we got all dolled up for the occasion. Brittany wore a lovely corset from Victoria Wilson (that I got her for Christmas!) and a black velvet, mermaid skirt. I wore a black dress with lace that I made, a Victoria Wilson waist cincher and a beautiful fascinator given to me by my best friend Laura. I think we were appropriately dressed for such a fancy tea date!
