On January 18th 2014 I started this blog as a way to express myself creatively through fashion, art and photography.  I am so proud that after 3 years I am still posting new content almost every week.  I am also so thankful to have found a loving audience who appreciates the work I am putting out and encourages me to continue to create more.

As I pass my third anniversary and as the demand grows, I have decided to stop and take some time to improve my technical skills and upgrade my equipment.  I’ve purchased my domain for this blog, which means I’ve dropped the .wordpress and am simply www.classicallycurvy.com!  I am taking a photography class and have a brand new full frame camera in my kit!   I am so excited for what the future holds and the opportunity to share the journey with you!

So, what does that mean?  I’m going to be posting a lot less in the next few months.  I might have a few things to share along the way, but I will be back officially at the beginning of April with the second edition of The Valley of the Dolls.  Stay tuned for more glamour, more glitter and more 60s psychedelia as I relaunch Dolly Shots Photography!

Henrietta VIII is the most powerful crime lord in the galaxy and Betty Quirk is exactly her kind of scum. Being dangerous space criminals has never looked so good! These ladies are ready to showcase the perfect balance of flawless pinup style and a total lack of morals.

Betty Quirk may have no love for the empire – but she loves to pose in her finest Mandalorian armour exactly “as you wish”. Ho ho ho… Be careful to stay on Henrietta’s good side because this Hutt does not take kindly to disappointments. When not posing for the camera she enjoys decorating her home with people who have betrayed her, frozen in carbonite. Don’t worry though – both of these sci-fi femme fatales agree that you’re no good to them dead!

St Stella

How lucky am I to be constantly surrounded by the most attractive people?  This week is no different! I have the first round of photos from my shoot with the bendy, Blonde Bombshell, Burlesque Babe St Stella to share!  Stella’s flexibility is mind blowing and her sensuality and passion overwhelm you when you see her perform.  You’ll have 2 chances to see her coming up this month!  On October 8th Stella will be performing at Decadence 1980’s at the Painted Lady and on October 13th she will be at Les Femmes Fatales Presents Bad Moon Rising at Revival in Toronto.  You can’t miss the opportunity to see St Stella in action but for now please enjoy some still shots of this buxom beauty!

Betty Quirk Blue Belle

Pokemon trainer, pinup girl, and burlesquer performer Betty Quirk is back for another photoset!  As part of my Glamour Girl series Betty is beaming in this beautiful blue ensemble from Tatyana.

Betty’s next big burlesque production will be taking place on September 17th at the Great Hall in Toronto and will centre on the latest pop culture trend; Pokemon Go!  Come see myself, Betty and many other burlesquers evolving into their final forms at Peepshow Go! More info coming soon.

First up from my new series Glamour Girls is the fierce and frisky Lorelei!

This Burlesque Babe has a real Tura Satana vibe with her raven hair, winged eyeliner and the way she combines strength and seductiveness.  You can see Lorelei embracing her inner Russ Meyer girl on July 28th at The Royal Cinema for the Ladies of Burlesque’s screening of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill featuring Lorelei as the burlesque entertainment for the evening.

Glamour Girl Photoshoot

Once again I have had the pleasure of working with an amazing group of glamourous ladies for a fantastic, fun-filled photoshoot!  My hair and makeup team of Natasha and Gail slayed once again on the styling for this pinup themed shoot.

My beautiful models were Saffron St James, Natasha, Jennifer, Henrietta VIII, Betty Quirk and Lorelei.  Here’s a little taste of what we did with more to come in the coming posts!
