Bianca Boom Boom is bringing the vintage glamour in this week’s ode to Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.
I was so excited to have Bianca join me for this particular photoshoot because I know she has a stellar collection of vintage garments. This psychedelic metallic dress is the perfect embodiment of 60s glamour and style and Bianca is rocking it! You can see this vintage vixen performing on June 11th at Striptease and Cheese and this summer at the Toronto Burlesque Festival!
The delectable Dottie Champagne is back this week to intoxicate you with her beauty!
You can catch this multi-talented performer this coming Friday as Columbia in the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Dottie is a member of Toronto’s Rocky Shadow Cast, Excited Mental State, who perform every month at the Bloor Cinema.
The sultry Sevvy Skellington is in a daze from all those dolls on this week’s Beyond the Valley of the Dolls photoset!
This Nerdlesque producer and performer is part of the Peepshow TO team who are hard at work on their next production I Have Misplaced My Pants: A Classic Simpsons Burlesque Tribute. With Simpsons superfan Sevvy’s eye on this production it is certain to be jam packed with hilarious references and saucy impressions of your favourite Simpsons characters!
My doll of the week is none other than the delightful Dottie Champagne! This little darling is a newbie Burlesquer with a seriously glamourous vintage appeal. Decked out in a family heirloom and a little bit of faux-fur, Dottie is ready for glass of champagne!
On January 18th 2014 I started this blog as a way to express myself creatively through fashion, art and photography. I am so proud that after 3 years I am still posting new content almost every week. I am also so thankful to have found a loving audience who appreciates the work I am putting out and encourages me to continue to create more.
As I pass my third anniversary and as the demand grows, I have decided to stop and take some time to improve my technical skills and upgrade my equipment. I’ve purchased my domain for this blog, which means I’ve dropped the .wordpress and am simply www.classicallycurvy.com! I am taking a photography class and have a brand new full frame camera in my kit! I am so excited for what the future holds and the opportunity to share the journey with you!
So, what does that mean? I’m going to be posting a lot less in the next few months. I might have a few things to share along the way, but I will be back officially at the beginning of April with the second edition of The Valley of the Dolls. Stay tuned for more glamour, more glitter and more 60s psychedelia as I relaunch Dolly Shots Photography!
2016 was a really hard year for everyone. It certainly wasn’t a year I will look back on fondly for many reasons. However, as I sifted through the photos for this post, there were many moments of laughter and fun sprinkled throughout. I always like to look on the bright side and so despite everything we’ve been through, here are some happy memories and pictures from 2016.
This year I traveled to New York, Montreal and Mexico! I had a wonderful time modelling for Raezor Latex and participating with them in Montreal Fetish Weekend. I performed in four spectacular Peepshow TO productions, three of which involved choreographing brand new group/duet routines with some of the most amazing Nerdlesque performers I know. I met my personal fashion inspiration Dita Von Teese! I got three new tattoos, including one that I got with my mom of the two of us as matryoshka dolls. I further developed my portfolio as a model and as a photographer. I made three wedding dresses and got to see two of my best friends marry each other!
I guess this year wasn’t so bad after all. Here’s to an even better 2017! Happy New Year!

It’s snowing outside, twinkly lights decorate our city and the sparkly Natasha is looking ready to celebrate! My favourite hairstylist and anime cosplay queen Natasha wanted to show another side of herself for this shoot. Decked out in glamourous gold, this holiday hunny is ready for a tall glass of holiday cheer!
This week I have another lovely photoset from my Glamour Girls photoshoot session with Jennifer! This beautiful babe is showing a softer, gentler side this week with a creamy, dreamy lingerie set and flower crown. Please enjoy!
Henrietta VIII is the most powerful crime lord in the galaxy and Betty Quirk is exactly her kind of scum. Being dangerous space criminals has never looked so good! These ladies are ready to showcase the perfect balance of flawless pinup style and a total lack of morals.
Betty Quirk may have no love for the empire – but she loves to pose in her finest Mandalorian armour exactly “as you wish”. Ho ho ho… Be careful to stay on Henrietta’s good side because this Hutt does not take kindly to disappointments. When not posing for the camera she enjoys decorating her home with people who have betrayed her, frozen in carbonite. Don’t worry though – both of these sci-fi femme fatales agree that you’re no good to them dead!
