The Quintessential Player, Charlie Quinn, is serving some citrus flavour in this week’s Dolly Shots photoset!
This Nerdlesque pro will be performing in Guelph at Pop Burlesque on May 12th and at The Lord of the G-Strings on May 20th at Revival in Toronto. You can also catch her as part of the Toronto Burlesque Festival, as both producer and performer, at the end of July!
2017 was a very strange year. There were lots of fun, happy memories but also a lot of very trying moments.
This year I travelled quite a lot to Montreal and New York City and also added Freeport, Bahamas to my travel list. I performed once again as part of the Toronto Burlesque Festival, at Toronto Pride, at Yeti Con, for the Ladies of Burlesque at the Royal, and in all 3 of the Peepshow TO productions. I had the pleasure of seeing the musical Hamilton twice in New York City. I went to Drag Con NY, the Bagel Burlesque Expo, Yeti Con and Fan Expo. I got a new tattoo from Genevieve FT. And I got to see two of my favourite people get married in a Jewish/Indian/Lord of the Rings wedding!
All in all this year has really taught me who the important people are in my life and to cherish those relationships. I’ve worked really hard this year to accomplish my goals but I know this is only the beginning. Look out 2018, I’m coming for you!!

Bianca Boom Boom is bringing the vintage glamour in this week’s ode to Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.
I was so excited to have Bianca join me for this particular photoshoot because I know she has a stellar collection of vintage garments. This psychedelic metallic dress is the perfect embodiment of 60s glamour and style and Bianca is rocking it! You can see this vintage vixen performing on June 11th at Striptease and Cheese and this summer at the Toronto Burlesque Festival!
Once again the lovely and talented Laura Desiree dominated the stage in her Rock n Roll Red Fringe outfit created by me! This time it was at the Toronto Burlesque Festival’s opening show where she strutted her stuff before a packed house of burlesque enthusiasts and performers. Since the last time I blogged about this outfit we added another piece which is the flowing red satin skirt with fringe detail from waist to hip. I love what the skirt added to the overall outfit and I think it finishes the look perfectly. Check out these wonderful photos from photographer Ruth Gillson of the gorgeous Laura Desiree at the Toronto Burlesque Festival!
Last weekend the outstanding performer Aviva the Mirage took the stage at the Toronto Burlesque Festival. I was lucky enough to get to dress this blue-haired beauty for the festival! I had so much fun working on this outfit that included a long flowing robe, tiger print one shoulder leotard, panel skirt, bra and panties. The combination of the wild tiger print with the rich raspberry purple skirt and robe was so elegant with just a hint of Bettie Page sass. I look forward to making more outfits for this burlesque babe in the future!
